The 2014 edition of Bastille Day will celebrate Liberty Day Normandy 1944/2014. The 70th anniversary of D-Day shall be the perfect occasion to celebrate the spirit of freedom and gratitude that has cemented the solid friendship between France and United States. The evening is organized under the patronage of his Excellency Francois Delattre, Ambassador of France to the United States, he will express his gratitude to our sponsors and benefactors during the VIP pre-reception.
Bastille Day is the Comité Tricolore largest annual Fundraiser. Proceeds will benefit the Comité Tricolore’s charitable programs and will welcome Washingtonians and their guests to the Embassy of France for an evening of French culture and fun on Friday, July 11 2014. The Comité Tricolore, a 501c 3 non-profit society of French and French-American associations of the Washington DC area, has been extending support to assist the needy in the community for 15 years.

As Consul General of France in Washington, DC and Honorary President of the Comité Tricolore, I express my full support for the latter’s upcoming fundraising event: Bastille Day 2014.
